At Goliath Gym Equipment, we build machines that are as tough as you are — but even the strongest gear needs the right foundation. Proper setup is essential to ensure safety, performance, and long-term durability.

Before installing your equipment, please review the guidelines below. By accepting delivery or proceeding with assembly, you agree to the setup terms outlined here.

 

 A LEVEL SURFACE IS REQUIRED

Our machines are engineered for flat, even flooring only.

If installed on a sloped or uneven surface (like garage floors or driveways), you may experience:

Smith bar tilting or uneven glide
Cable misalignment or tension issues
Uneven resistance or structural strain
Premature wear on guide rods, bearings, or frame
 These are not manufacturing defects — they’re caused by the environment where the equipment is placed.
Goliath cannot guarantee performance or safety on non-level floors.

 

WHAT GOLIATH COVERS

We take full responsibility for:

Delivering all machines in new, working condition
Providing all advertised parts and components
Offering assembly services (when selected)
Replacing any factory-defective parts within warranty terms
If one of our certified technicians handles the install, they’ll ensure everything is correctly assembled. If an issue is due to a factory defect, we’ll repair or replace it — no questions asked.

 

WHAT WE DON'T COVER

We are not responsible for performance or damage caused by:

Sloped, uneven, or unstable flooring
Modifications or drilling not performed by our team
Third-party installation errors
Long-term wear from improper installation or surface issues
Once your machine is installed on an unsuitable surface, any performance problems fall outside our responsibility.
Custom adjustments made at your request — such as adapting to uneven ground — are done at your own risk.

 

DELIVERY & SETUP CHECKLIST 

Before we deliver or install:

Please ensure your space is ready, clean, and level before delivery. If you are unsure whether your floor or installation area is suitable, contact us first — we are happy to help assess your space.

Delivery (Shipping) and assembly are separate services. If both delivery and assembly are scheduled for the same day, installation must take place on the ground floor or garage level where the equipment is delivered.

If assembly is required in areas beyond the ground floor (such as upstairs, basements, or any location requiring extended carrying or setup distance), additional fees will apply depending on access and difficulty.

If delivery (shipping) is completed first and assembly is scheduled for a later date, the customer is responsible for moving the equipment to the desired installation area prior to the assembly appointment.
